Established in 1981, Bapatla Engineering College is a premier autonomous institution located in Bapatla, Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh. Sponsored by the Bapatla Education Society and founded by the late Padmabhushan Sri N.G. Ranga, the college was the first generation self-financing engineering college in the state.
Affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University, the college became autonomous in 2010-11 and has been accredited by NAAC with 'A+' Grade. It has also received NBA accreditation multiple times. Spread across 30 acres with over 7,00,000 sq.ft. of built-up area, the college offers 9 B.Tech programmes, M.Tech specializations, MCA, and M.Sc courses.
