Established in 2008 by the Sri Vishnu Educational Society, Vishnu Institute of Technology (VIT) is a premier autonomous institution located in Vishnupur, Bhimavaram, West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh . The college was founded under the visionary leadership of Late Padma Bhushan Dr. B.V. Raju and is currently chaired by Sri K.V. Vishnu Raju .
Spread across an 11-acre campus, the college is permanently affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK) and approved by AICTE . The institute was granted Autonomous status in 2019-20 and holds NAAC 'A+' Grade with a CGPA of 3.51 . All eligible UG programmes are NBA accredited, valid till 2025 .
